Nokia 8310 - Strange Problem - GSM-Forum

HI all,

I have an oldish Nokia 8310 as a spare phone, and lately i've noticed a strange fault.
Basically, the phone restarts when calling someone.

You can send and receive texts with it ok, and also recieve calls. I can even make calls to the Orange PAYG centre to check credit etc, but when calling a landline/other mobile the phone resets.

Signal is fine, so wondering if anyone else has come across this?

I reckon maybe flashing it might help, so does anyone know how easy (or not) it is to do this yourself? Its a DCT4 Handset, and I have a newer flashfile (nhm75505.57b and nhm75505.570), but what software do I need? Is a box required, or will the data cable do?

use any saras box or griffin box for that

I don't have a Box like Griffin.

All I have is the Phoenix Software and 8310 phone. Can I flash it using a Data Cable and Phoenix alone?

plaese i have a probleme whit a nokia 8310, strenge fout the phone charge the batterie ok , the swich on/of olso ok , the way of the on switch is olso ok so , wat kan the fout be . please help.
