:( Pls help me on Dct 4 Flasher by coolgsm 1.7...it shows always "After start signal TX remains low". Tested on 8310 and 6310......

keep trying and don't remove the battry

The flasher used without battery..."USB"powered....cables....pls help

That's the problem when using cheap dct4 fLASHER....Hardly any support felt..... ANyway just Good Luck..

Use non-original battery to flash.. and you won't have any problems in flashing.

I got same prob with same dongle....

Sometimes " communication problem ", sometimes " TX remains low ", etc...

Here is solution: Connect dongle to computer u working with, connect USB plug to ANOTHER COMPUTER !!! and it's working perfect for me.....

Later i build simple 7805 power supply instead of USB cable and that is even better solution...

Use non-original battery and instead of pushing power button when the program says "power on"... plug in charger and you will solve your flashing problems...

I use the 12v from the disk drive power supply into a 7805 regulator for powering the dongle.. no problems whatsoever.

i have flashed an 8310 but i have no menu functions , its all blank , where do i download different flashes

you forgot to flash ppm.....:D

how to chose mcu and ppm cos there is a button to chose a file then i chose the big one 5mb and automatically both lines on the program get filled with the sorce file + i assume a ppm file , then i flash it erases and flashes , then tells me to switch off the phone , i take out battery , then tells me to power on , do that , it erases and flashes again , but my phone still has no menu , i dont know what i'm doing wrong , or i think that the flash files i have are the wrong ones ,
where can i download a flash pack
i tried http://www.ed2k.com.ph/support/ but it says it needs a password btw the same site has the DCT4 flsher for free

may be u have choosen option "PPM only"..uncheck that option and flash again.dont choose the big file..thats MCU file.. choose any PPM file and programm will automatically attach MCU with it.

Change paralell port settings in bios ( epp/ecp works fine for me )...

Check power supply +5 V to box. Generally, USB powered dongles works very bad. Instead of USB power build ur own +5V power supply or use one from ur computer power supply ( in my case +5V is red wire, should be same on every power supply but...).

Also, good thing to do is to connect shielding of DB25 connector of box to GND...

If that does not help, return your dongle to supplier and ask for another..
