1208 shows low battery - GSM-Forum

A nokia 1208 (rh-105) shows low battery even when a fully charged battery is inserted. It goes on, shows "low battery" and then goes off. If a partially charged battery is inserted the set cannot go on.

I have tried with different batteries but to no result. If the set is put to charge it works normally but as soon as the it is disconnected from charging it shows low battery and goes off

any solution anybody????????
