Post 3210 LCD fadeing

There is a 3210 with LCD that fading awey after some minutes. And come back the contrast with makeing presure on its upper, left-upper side.

I have build in a little pace of paper bettwen the front cover and LCD frame. Its jus longer a little the good operation.

I clean all contacts and refit the metal frame to the LCD, but no succes.

If I put some little glue to between the board 8 conntacts (the contacts on the board will stay free of glue of course) and the rubber connection, is this fixed my problem?
Or this phenomena neans that my rubber connectors is wrong that I have to change that insted making glue?

check the LCD first if there's a capacitors (2pcs) underneath (upper right).. If yes, then resolder this capacitors and without a soldering lead (do not prolong the contact of the iron to the capacitor just for a second only)... before heating the contacts of the capacitor put a little pressure on top of it, use a small screw driver (be careful not to slip the capacitor), then after heating up the contacts put some glue or loctite at both sides (not on the contact points)... be careful!!!

Thx all advice,

I solved this problem 1 week before. I changed elastomer. LCD works good now
I very very cleaned with rubber and aceton the wrong elastomer, and it get better! So it is OK with both of elastomers!

My first action with glue, hm.. it was a silly thing: LCD showed me nothing, but fortunatelly the aceton-solver helped me

Thnx again!
