3310 charging problem - GSM-Forum

Hi I have a 3310 and when I put the battery on the phone the phone gives a BEEP and the charging symbol will show "without the charger connected" also you can see there is a little voltage on the screen when the phone is off because the background of the screen is a little bit darker then without the battery. So when the phone is off the battery will still become ends empty. When I put it on the phone say's after a while "Not charging" (still no charger connected). I checked the battery on a other phone and this is not the problem. The phone itself works OK. Does anyone know this problem or can HELP me with this problem.

Hi, all.

About the same problem for me on 3310.
When connect charger, it says ''CHARGING''.
When remove charger it also says "CHARGING"
When i try to reconnect charger it doesnt respond.
When power off and on it says ''CARHGING" without charger ?
And after 10seconds phone says" NOT CARGING" or "reconnect
charger"

I replaced power IC and Ccont, but no succes

Dont think its software(calibration), because put different full flashes
in phone.

Are there more options ?

Hello...

This fault is not always bcos of Charging IC and CCONT... there r lots of parts who r responsible for Charging... This fault is only bcos of Some Kind a shorting... Most probably bcos of water Fallen to that AREA... To solve this problem u guys must have to clean the board properly... and then rehot all area near the Charging IC and CCONT... But b carefull there is CPU also near the Charging IC... This fault is not so big u can solve it.. just u have to try it

A qeuston about cleaning.
Im searching good way off cleaning, and your right waterdamage caused this problem.

What is the best way off cleaning thes damaged phone.
Some tell Ultrasonic some say dont use that !!

What liquid will do best for cleaning and will not damage board by desolving something else ?
