3310 LED Problem

I have a 3310 and the 4 led's directly under the screen stay on constantly as soon as you insert a battery, obviously this drains the battery

which chip needs to be changed to solve this ?????

or what is the solution, its already been through the water damage ultrasonic bath and that hasn't solved it

First check pin15 of the N400, should be 0V (if not then CPU or N400 or board is the problem).
Second measure the resistance of the R403. Should be 10k.
Third desolder pin13 of the N400. If lights still on then probably R407 is faulty.
Remove R407. If lights still on (with pin13 desoldered and R407 removed) then board is faulty. If lights went off then N400 or R407 is faulty. Remove R407 and solder back pin13 of the N400. If all ok leave it. If not chnage N400.

Regards

3510i with LED problem

Hi, I have a similar problem with a 3510i coming from a water fall.

I cleaned the phoe that works perfectly, only the 4 LEDs does not switch on.
I checked them and they are OK.

What can you suggest me?

Thanks a lot for your answer
