this problem faced me many time i don't know any soloution
the phone works only by the cable of any flasher tool(mt hwk jaf) but never works with any battery
NOTE power buttom is ok you can power on off the phone using the power key but only with flasher tool cable too u can power on the phone using the power supply
i had changed uem but the same anybody can help

replace the criystal and check the battery pin middle line

1.check bsi way
2.check uem ic,if not ok change it

3 pins psi already well conected i know what u r talking about but notice if the middle pci not conected the phone can't power on by the power supply this phone i have to connect the 3 pins to gives me local mode on the power supply.
any other soloution thanks to all.

If u r sure bsi line is properly connected, the problem may be in ur UEM. Rehot the UEM carefully.

in this problem the switch ways, the battery terminals are all ok contacts and to the proper ckts. i think the problem may be the communication between the cpu and the uem. may some one think about it and isolate the fault
