6210 network when I put hand on the phone - GSM-Forum

I have a 6210 with a crazy network problem
It gets network, but if I put my hand on the top of the phone (closing my hand where the antenna is) it starts losing network, like if I'm barrying the network

I already changed PA, Antena Switch, reflowed cobba, hagar and ccont

Any idea how to fix this ?

Maybe the car accessory antenna jack ( inside it there is a leef sw), maybe it is nonconducting.

OK you've changed this parts !

But did you maked the calibrations ?

And did you've checked the antenna ?

yeap.. I replaced the antena too... I must try now to shortcut the antena jack acessory.
Then I'll post results

Here is a slow aproach:
1. Desolder PA...
2. Desolder Duplexer..
3. Enable Net Monitor menu..
4. Solder a wire from ANT (Duplexer) to GSM/PCS output (of Duplexer).
5. Start phone and go to the Net Monitor menu and enter test #01.
6. Look at RSSI reading.

Tell us the results...

simply you have broken anntena pads on board when you press you lose the signal try this please
1-short the bothe anntena jack
2-resolder the anntena pads on board
3-change the anntena

it should be your external antenna socket who is broken
pads broken.
after you change control the link between that and the antenna switch
