Thanks for great share, but a bit correction; the resistor number is R3203 not R2303 , sorry & thanks again ...

It seems other reason; & sure it's one or both MMC drive IC or interface IC (filter) & mostly it's the second one, & since it's water damage so it will need to be replaced not only reflowed, G.O.D assist ...

Maybe it's even enough to clean the area if the reason is conductive corrosion though a reflow is a good thing as well

Attached datasheets of the voltage level shifter / regulator N3200,
and of the EMI filter R3200

And as a followup. I have one of these water damaged 6300. Seems it's not really water, but moist from being kept in a bag or in a pocket.Just a little moisture that seeps in thru the cover close to the MMC reader...voila'..**** happens, and corrosion makes huge conducting paths around the N3200 area, and Nokia's warranty is void even if it's a design flaw. That's Nokia in a nutshell.

Hi, sorry about this stupid post, but I'm not overly technologically able and am having serious memory card troubles, it won't accept all of my files (approx 4mbs of them) on a 128mb memory card! I've looked through the posts in ths forum, but don't kno what to do about it...?!

if anyone could help/explain it to a simpleton like me, i'd be totally grateful:-)!

thnks in advance!
