6600 keyboard problem


Problem in a 6600 water damaged:
all is now functioning, but keys 1, 2, 3, 0 are dead
Connectors are ok, flat cable also.
Have a strange aspect one of the grey component near keyboard connector: What they are?
Help!!
P.S. I flashed phone, no change!

if it's small shiny grey component it's probably the keyboard antistatic ic you are wondering about. and this is probably the faulty component.

also peel up the white keydome assy on the keyboard and check for corrosion or damaged tracks on the membrane underneith.

WOW!! small, grey, is it! It have a damaged corner....
I controll all the contacs of keyboarb with multimeter, and all is ok. 1, 2, 3 and 0 are part of same row( same cable)
What is an antistatic ic?

i have the same problem 2 with the small grey circuit...in wich phone i will found 2 replace?

You may find those crystal ic's on 6610,7210,7610,8310,8910i,7250 etc.
