6600 white screen only - GSM-Forum

can anyone show me solution for wet 6600 white screen only. cannot make calls, previously it fades from white to black screen. i change lcd, lcd connector, uem, interface ic, bt ic. lcd ic but none of it works. Fully flashed it into v5.53 format ok, local mode ok,write pm ok.

can you help me before i use the hammer on this crap

i think this unit spoils your christmas holiday...... hehehe..
try to replace the ic in the upperpart of rhe bat connector.....

some of this problem coming from the cpu.. might try to reflow or otherwise replace..

one reason this 6600 really spoils my holiday is because i already fixed it even tested it for quite some time (memory card corrupted) but when customer came it screws up

Excuse, me to all of you gentlemen, I have also that problem before but I fix it..

take a look this attachement, reflow this IC or replace maybe it will help you..

BR, UPER SIDE OF BAT CONNECTOR , there are two galss ic , one is R385 and SECOND is N380 , which is IC faulty ?

yes buddy there are two ic... just remove the small one and put jumper wire on it....... the other one just replace it.... or you can also put a jumper on it.......

little IC R385 (IP4043CX5)is just only protector and for safety if u only remove its the set will work well there is no need to jamper ,and no role in LCD display i think as.Athough N380 (LM3819BLX)has a main role . am i right sir ? if not plz guide me ,

i also thought it before that its just a protector..... but after a while the display will faid....
