6610i contact service after UEM change - GSM-Forum

Hi
I have a 6610i & i had to change UEM because of charging problem after i changed UEM i got contact service then
i make 7250 repair/update & sent it to GT server & write it to phone i still have contact service i am wonder when i make self test there is no fail section but still have contact service it make me crazy please help me.

just flash the mobile with last version

In case of UEM changing in 7250i / 6610i you need use erase file for 7250i, after this - flash phone with desired MCU+PPM+CNT and upload short 7250i pm - and you have Contact service. Now you must make ask request on Griffin with included 7250i UEM+Flash repair - will cost you 2 logs, but phone will be OK.

Uem May Be Not Oki Try To Flash Phone If Not Oki Try To Flash If Problam Still There Change Uem Again.....

i have repaired this kind of problem before.. my process was after changig UEM it displays contact service.. i flashed it with 7250 flash file then write rpl then ppm file after it displays insert sim after flashing. hope this would help...B.R.

Hi bro you are using wrong UEM IC ...
this uem is not supported with 6610, will support in 1100,2300,3100/3120

i have faced this problem long time ago ...

uem for 7250i&6610i are the same if you encountered contact service after changing uem change it again. maybe bcoz ur uem are used or not original.

matchonion Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Age: 42 Posts: 18 Member: 160349 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1	emm..after u replace ur uem..make a ask file for uem than built rpl..and do a flashing(use6610i sw)...but it is still contact service..right..now make a ask file for ur flash ic..and built it up..everything done..reflashing ur phone(use 6610i sw)...done. tips. u cant reflow uem,upp,flash ic in ur 6610i phone cos if u reflow it sure contact service
