6630 charging - GSM-Forum

a 6630 when charging ,the phone indicates charging ,but the battery does not take charge .the output voltage at the battery connector is below two volt.and no any shorting or leakage at battery connector .and also at charging connector.regulators are ok . pls any one can help me.

replace or reflow tahvo ic...... tested 100%

ok thank you sir. i will try this . but sir there will be any problem about imei and like that when changing the ic.

after change Tahvo imei/simlck still ok, no problem

where is this ic on board bro. i ve a 6630 with same problem too.is it near the backlight ic n coil kindly post a pic if u can thanx in advance.

There is an "TAHVO" word on the IC. its below Flash IC/CPU(OMAP).

is it must to change the ic for fixibng the problem or just resolding can solve the problem?

reflowing the ic might work.... but replacing is 100% solution

its available here... but i have no idea in your country buddy... but you can use the old one... even from dead 6630 or 6680
