8310 completly dead - GSM-Forum

hi ppl i have an 8310 that is totaly dead, doesnt respond when power on or charge, cant reflash with afd cos it reports phone not connected. i have change the battery but stil no good, any ideas.hint hint willy

HI,,

try to measure 32.768Khz first , and measure VBB from UEM !
then make sure that system clock is working , like 26Mhz, like 13Mhz!

there is easy to check VBB !
when phone install bettery, then try to power on it,
then you measure that VBB, is it HIGH or LOW !
connect your MBUS to a led, to measure it

Try to resolder BGA components use hot air station then reflash your unit. I revive a lot of 8310 with this metod.

how bout the PA, maybe it's short

hot on hagar and try to make a flash in some times a hagar make a conflect with flash progress

Try to resolder ALL BGA components.
