Member: 28964 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I have repaired quite a few with the same problem successfully. Left hand side is earth/ground, as you have broken the right hand side then run a wire from the switch to c312. This info was supplied to me by excelldirect (www.excelldirect.co.uk). Although I have not yet tried it, according to excell you can even repair a switch with no pads on the board. They recommend gluing the switch to the board with super glue running a wire to ground and one to C312. Again I have never tried replacing "both" broken legs but I have a friend who has and he says it works every time. I would also advise gluing the switch even with only one leg broken as a switch needs a fair amount of strength from heavy handed users Fuse |
