8850 no recetion after being hit on the wall - GSM-Forum

Hello All

I got an 8850 that gives 10 seconds of reception each time it is switched on. after that the reception drops. It is 1000% a hardware fault.

I hear that changing the PA might do the trick. Plz can some 1 verify if this is the right thing to do.

If so what does the PA look like?? does it have chip number??

p.s. Also I have 3210 not charging. Any ideas??

Yes it's PA you can found it on the top of pcb No:PFO8013B

If there is full bar then suddenly drops, that is PA and or Ant Switch. Resolder first, if still no go, replace.
