HELP :3310 waterdamaged.


I have one 3310 waterdamaged.
I cleaned it using ultrasonic bath.

Now it turn on showing Contact Service immediately.
(it does not show insert card first then C.S.)

I rehoot cobba. It does not help. Then I rehoot COBBA, Flash, RAM, Hagar and CCONT.

Now it is totally dead!

Any help

first u should check sleep clock ...
and the go to ccont values ...is it ok ..
and then 26 mhz is it working ..."u can check it using frequency counter"
and then check HAGAR ...
and also go to flash "change or reball"

from now on try to heat only one IC then pw on ...then other...and so on.. not all at once ... at this point u must reball all of them and then see what`s next...

Thanks for your advice.

Iam new at reballing. I tried to reball the BGA using metal mask and solderpasta. When heeting the solder I got a lot of good balls. but a few jump away.

the result is that there are missing 5-6 balls.


We will appreciate if you could tell exactly how to make good balls.

What is the best/good way to clean solder from board and bga ic, when removing.
