Help needed for a new repairer

Hello friends,

I have been reading this forum for maybe about a year now, and have learned a lot from here.

I have just started repairing handsets, and am facing some problems....

Is this the right place to ask them?

Thanks friend

I have 2 Nokia 3310 which register to network, both 900 and 1800 mhz, but leave the network after 10 seconds.

What should be the solution?

regards.

@ Mr.raja3333

Use of jumper trick on antenna switch may create problem in your PA. Check vbatt line near PA. The phone leaves network after few seconds means your Rx part is OK but you've got problem in Tx path. Try to check or replace PA and antenna switch. Netmonitor is good measurement.

Good luck.....

regards.

You must flash your phone with new software 5.57 or new. You can write virgin eprom too. And update FAID and IMEI with nokia tool or other soft. If your phone have no network after about 10 sec, try to change all GSM and DCS filters. Not once, you must change all filters from good phone.(complete)

Please, before changing anything and heating PCB always do following>

1. Make SW update to last possible version, include recalculating FAID, IMEI, and FFS init.
2. When signal falling after 10 secs. check VBATT lines,
3. If made point 1. and 2. then start with changing and reheating.

Oh my ***!!!

I am surprised at the response my question has generated.

Yoda Brno has even uploaded a picture! Thanks man! I really appreciate the help I am getting here.

You know what, now I am getting the feeling that I will go a long way in this field, if I have so many well wishing friends to help me out!

This is my World now :>

PS: What should I check at the points in the picture? continuity at them with a multimeter, or voltage in battery connected position? and if so, how much voltage should be there?

Hello Friends!

I checked for continuity...
It was not present, so I made a jumper connection.
Now there is continuity, but the problem still remains.
Now, there is loss of network after 5 to 6 seconds!

Help me! I have many pieces that I have to return because I cannot solve this problem :{
