Member: 7653 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 823 | hot air instruction? i have aoyue 968 rework station, first i want to try just reflow some IC. what heat and air is needed? i just read sometimes 300 deg C, 360 deg C even higher. well solder mely at under 200 deg C, so why u ned such more heat? i worked in repair car stereo for short time, and our reowrk station there (for remove processor) was operate at only 150 deg C if i remember correct.. i set my 968 to 200 deg C, and he keep rising in temperature untill 400 deg C! the end of ****er goes red and smoke is coming from the PCB  i thikn tooooooo hot  so just please give temp and air settings. then others search and see the infos. thx |
