hot air instruction?


hi, i search but fine not good infos..

i have aoyue 968 rework station, first i want to try just reflow some IC.

what heat and air is needed?

i just read sometimes 300 deg C, 360 deg C even higher. well solder mely at under 200 deg C, so why u ned such more heat?

i worked in repair car stereo for short time, and our reowrk station there (for remove processor) was operate at only 150 deg C if i remember correct..

i set my 968 to 200 deg C, and he keep rising in temperature untill 400 deg C! the end of ****er goes red and smoke is coming from the PCB i thikn tooooooo hot

so just please give temp and air settings. then others search and see the infos. thx

Hi! Try 300-350 ºC Air level 6 for 20-30 seconds...

I Did Some Experiment On Old Board, I Use 400 Deg C And Air Level 4.
It Remove Resistor In Few Seconds

I Will Use More Air Now You Say That.
