How to remove PA?

What is the best practice to remove a PA out of a 8210 with a hot air pencil??

I have to heat the whole metal covering the PA and remove it, the problem is to remove the PA, because it may break it self.

What is the best way?

have to remove the frame by using the small tip of hot air, then past some flux around the pa and heat it...

try to use raidio shak flux it is the best

also you can remove the flam by taking it out strongly but with care don't need to heat it because some times is dengrouse and you have the risk to move one of the small risestant from its place

u just have to pull it up whit small pliers.

start to pull it up here there is only a small piece of metal in contact with the PCB and then move on to the next
u will see that once one piece of metal is disconected from the PCB, the outher will offer no resistence

not if you doit gentely

this will only work in frames that have gaps, if the frame is complitely solid i will advise not to doit

on frames like 8210 its ok and safe

Dangerous practice!

You can damage your phone this way by pulling out the pcb contacts.

You won't break anything if u r careful enough...On 8210 i never heated frame in order to remove it...And i never put it back after repair...On 3310 i just cut out piece that covers area where i have to replace components...
