Member: 39092 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks! Here is my problem: I have an irDA, it can use with SAMSUNG phone, and 8210, 8250, but can't not use with 6610, 6100, 72xx... When i connect with these phone, my computer know the phone, but after 4-5 minute, is broken link. I don't know what speed tranfer is best? defaut is 4000000, and 1ms. Is it correct? Thanks for your help! |

Member: 13164 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | As a workaround, you may change the default setting of the "Transceiver type" in Device Manager by doing the following steps : 1. Windows XP : go to "Control Panel"- "System"- "Hardware"-"Device Manager"-"Infrared Device" Windows 98/ME : go to "Control Panel" - "Network" - "Configuration" - "SigmaTel US-IrDA Dongle" 2. Double click "SigmaTel USB-IrDA dongle". 3. Select "Advanced". 4. Change the default "Infrared Transceiver Type" to "Vishay TFD". (the default type is "Infineon <default>" 5. Set the "Speed Enable" to "400000". 6. Click "OK" to exit. 7. If you still encounter problem during transmission, you may need to go to step (5) to set the "Speed Enable" to lower speed, i.e., "115200" or "57600". |
