Hi!
Yesterday I had similar problem,no LCD on 3310.
PCB was broken,5th contact was "in the air"...I found on working PCB where it goes,to point between keypad contacts "5" and "6",over the LED.piece of wire solved problem!

Pin 4 of LCD is connected to ROW5 of CPU section, and has nothing to do with R306.

R306 supplies 2,8V to LCDENX line from CPU to LCD pin 5. If you have 2,8V on R306 and 2,56V on LCD pin 5, than you probbably have some passive resistance as a result of water damage. Try to connect direct line from R306 to LCD pin 5 and post results here!

Why don't you read old posts?
Please measure voltages on all LCD pins and post here!

Or try this:

Check line: LCD pin 1 -> C409, C413, VBB and
line: LCD pin 7 - > C410, C412.
Check/replace C409, C410, C412, C413.
Then check line from LCD pin 4 to ROW5 (J301 testpoint).
Then check line from LCD pin 8 (LCDRSTX) to testpoint J314.
Then check line from LCD pin 2 to testpoint J303.
Finally, check line from LCD pin 3 to R304 and check/replace R304.

If all that doesn't help, and you are sure that your LCD and SW is OK, replace MAD. Good Luck!
