Member: 7586 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | n3310 no display I have problem with n3310, no display. Display is ok i tried with 2 another, in another 3310 is working normaly. I checked voltages on lcd pads . on pin 4 there is voltage 2.56 not 2.8 as desciribed in servise manual. on R306 there is 2.8V , dont know how to fix this problem . Any idea ?Please help b.r. Pali |

Member: 6464 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Hi! Yesterday I had similar problem,no LCD on 3310. PCB was broken,5th contact was "in the air"...I found on working PCB where it goes,to point between keypad contacts "5" and "6",over the LED.piece of wire solved problem! Regards SHiljo |

R306 supplies 2,8V to LCDENX line from CPU to LCD pin 5. If you have 2,8V on R306 and 2,56V on LCD pin 5, than you probbably have some passive resistance as a result of water damage. Try to connect direct line from R306 to LCD pin 5 and post results here! | |

Member: 7586 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | i cleaned the board properly, and reflow C409, C410, C412, C413 now i have 2.8V on pin 4 of lcd. but still no display. can any1 help me with all pins correct connection. how to check for broken link. b.r. Pali |

Please measure voltages on all LCD pins and post here! Or try this: Check line: LCD pin 1 -> C409, C413, VBB and line: LCD pin 7 - > C410, C412. Check/replace C409, C410, C412, C413. Then check line from LCD pin 4 to ROW5 (J301 testpoint). Then check line from LCD pin 8 (LCDRSTX) to testpoint J314. Then check line from LCD pin 2 to testpoint J303. Finally, check line from LCD pin 3 to R304 and check/replace R304. If all that doesn't help, and you are sure that your LCD and SW is OK, replace MAD. Good Luck! | |
