N97 dead

Hello
I have a problem with a n97 that wont turn on after i changed the micro-USB conector... i removed the sim tray with the hot air gun and resoldert the broken micro-USB afther that i had a short on VBAT so i traced the problem to N4402 witch was overheating (i mesured a 0.89A curent from the battery) i removed the chip (N4402) and now the phone dosent have the short anymore but when i press power on the current jumps to 0.011A and stays that way for ever...

Anyone can help me?

When you unsolder that led driver N4402 some prints was shorted?
If yes then reball N4402 & solder back.
If no replace it with an working one.

Ok phone must work without this led driver,i found part number LP5521 CSP-20
of it you can Google a little.
See on board maybe some component is missing it may fall when you heated.
Or problem might be that when shorted Led Driver to Vbat it burn Power Management ic.

well the ideea is that the RAP comunicates with the LED driver through i2c interface... after the RAP sends the comand it waits for a ACK (acknowledge) from the LED driver... i am not sure that is the case here, anyway i will try to mesure some tensions on the board...

Tanks for the help! multumesc
