u must change the static discharge filter (or bridge it).

it is locate very near the sim card holder and is a small square that looks metallic (some call it the glass IC).

you can take from any DCT4 nokia, or search for bridging method used in 8310. for best results, you can buy original new component in www.i-phone.org

Check d battery contact. if the battery contact pins is not even & allign, it causes insert sim problem in 1100 & 2300 nokia. so use a tweezer to adjust & re-allign the battery contact pins. i think it should solve the problem.

i do not reball personally, i will only work with new pre balled IC.

i have reballed a few COBBA IC just for fun in the past, it is not an easy job

however, with a very steady hand, you can lift an IC and leave enough solder on the board to attach a new IC.

i have managed that with one t630 charging filter, before we got the parts in stock. if one ball is slightly missing, you can touch the spot up with your fine tip soldering iron and small amout of tin

Have you tried a different battery? Sometimes, it's just a leakage in the battery. It works for me in Nokia 1100 and 7370.
