it is as same to 1600 ledproblem so plz serch the forum first

Change the Light IC.

hello brother its a hardware fault in light ic just check it and also check coil here is the full solution for nokia 1110, 2610, 1600, all same pcb have these problem here is the solution

No LCD or Keypad light
follow procedure

1. check continuity, voltages, LED, LCD
2. voltages
L2400 = 3.7/3.7
R2401 = 3.7/3.7
C2401= 3.7/0
v2401 ---> KDL = 2.18V @ lights off and 0v @ lights on
----------> Vflash1 = 2.18V
----------> EN = 2.18v @ lights on and 0v @ ligts off
c2400 = 10v @ lights on
v2400 3.6v->|- while lights on(+ve side)

diagnosis
no voltage @ c2400 ---> change N2400
no voltage @ v2400 check connection between c2400 to LCD#10 and LCD#9 to v2400

if OK check the LCD or v2400

(to check v2400/LCD simply short both pins of v2400 while lights on mode).

post results

if is also the key pad light
then change the coil as well
