Question nokia 3100 fault

hi all
my nokia phone ended up in the washing machine lol.
i took it apart and dried everything.
phone still worked but no display.
i took the lcd screen out of a nokia 6100 and put it into the 3100.
display says TEST MODE.
i cleaned all circuit board and put back together, but now it displays LOCAL MODE, and the screen lights up when i insert battery.
any help on this please.
thank you.
regards.
