Nokia 500 display problem - GSM-Forum

Guyz i have nokia 500 i bought it 25 day ago but i have display problem in it i does not showing any thing when i start mobile it blink for lessthen a second and then become dark showing a line which is not seen properly. Rest are working fine when i start mobile startup tone play fine and after 10-20sec on switiching on i touch the sccreen vibration also come key and lock button light also working fine. I format my phone but it didnot help the worst thing is that i cannot see any thing in my mobile it showing light in dark and give light at startup which is for v.v. Short duration just like thunder. I showed to reparing shop he said that the display is gone and the charge for this is about 1200rs which is large amout also in my state there in no nokia service center. Guyz if display is realy gone than tell me the display type also give example of other mobile (mobile has the same display type with nokia 500)7 i buy the display and try to repair myself.
