I hade more than 10 nokias 5210 with this problem, i have repaired about 60% of them with reflowing CPU.

First i tried changing mic, COBBA, bottom plug-in connector,
all smd in path of microphone, CCONT.... nothing heleped.

Other 40% repaired with changing bottom express-on shell!!!

Hiya

Check microphone bias....on 8210 it was resistor and 2 caps on keyside...

It might been same on 5210...I don't have board to check right now so this is just guess....

No, this is not the solution... I have allready tried that.

I think it is DSP problem because mic signal is breaking when other party talks louder. If signal form speaker is louder, mic signal breaks up (other party hears breaking voice)...

Other thing i noticed - this problem is present only with phones that don't have glued CPU.

So, this leads us to conclusion - CPU fault, probably solderings under MAD2...

Regards!
