can i use any nokia part < transister ic > as the volatege regulater.output volatage 5v. plz help me. i want use in china phone for fake charging...........

u can use doide. most of the china phone have it more. so why u worry?

thanks for reply sir but doide cant reglut volt as the 7805 3 leg 7812 3 leg availble in old cd players...........

can u suggest me any small size transistor same the 7805................

yes u right...but nokia regulators are builtin uem ic...
i've a transistor regulation circuit but we can't use on mobile pcb cause a tight area...
So plz use Big nokia UEM Resitor near by 1100UEM, 1200-08 1650 UEM, etc and a single diode in series...in this case Resistor work as regulator and load Resistor....
( this's a not 100% regulator alternate but some thing is batter then nothing)
check attachment if u can understand schematic diagram...

brother u can take out 2.8volt regulator from 3100 pcb and use it where u need 2.8v like vmmc vcam i used in to many mobile and its easy to jumper because its not BGA I mean its 5 leg ic and this ic is also swich able by enable pin.

yes this one also this ic is available in 6100 7210 and other old model. pin detail u see in 3100 schematic or ic data sheet from alldatasheet web
LP3985 pdf, LP3985 description, LP3985 datasheets, LP3985 view ::: ALLDATASHEET :::
also u can take out other LDO like 2.8v 1.8v 2.5v from chinese mobile and samsung mobile like e250 lcd board lg kg195 etc

if u need regulator for charging purpose then @zaki537 nokia 3100 regulator is usless for u...but it's usefull for many other situtations...
i've an one more trick to solve charging prob...this is old but gold....
1. remove FUSE from phone and make a jumper batween chargin + to battery +..
2. open charger and put 4.5v or 5v regulator in ur charger.
u can use 7805 in charger...
it's a very useful in any charging problem...
and now you just press THANKS

this is use in MMC, Camera, LED, BT, LCD, SW faults...
i can't explain by example...
it's a very useful and easy for advance engineers...

hi,

feeding charging input line directly to battery is not a charging solution in fone .
if we do so ...... how battery temperature is maintained ?
what is the role of BSI in this ?
how current being regulated in accordance with battery temp ? is the set indicate charging ?

if the thread starter needs a regulator for input circuit for protecting the input voltage ,
just use smd type 5 volt regulator, which is available in elctronix shops.(like 7805)
or you can relay on series voltage regulator.
u can fix voltage by choosing the brake down voltage of ZENER diode.and can control by current rating capacity of the transistor which is in series to the load.

I just mentioned some facts, not blind ready made shortcuts.
