hi i have nokia 6260 when i put sim card and start it say's sim card registratifaild what is the solutation....

is this problem with diverent sim cards or just with 1???????

any card i use say's sim card registration faild i cheak sim jack too but still the problam is same

i think you should try to use software first try full flash and then format user area and some ui setings that may solve the problem quote responce

did your phone falldown b4 or h20? if it is, try to replace sim i.c. or reheat maybe cold solder...

hi mate remove sim card driver and replace it .
7250 simcarddriver is the same in 6260 driver

i have just flashed the phone with a good eeprom(pm), now the phone is okkkk

note: my phone was displaying registration failed few minute after powe on.

Im having the same porblem with my 7610, when i put in my o2 sim it says sim registration failed, but it donst say that when i insert my voda sim.
will a full flash fix the problem?

hi guys

i tried everything and nothing worked but i found a solution and fixed 3 phones tht were having same problems ,, sim registration failed ..insert sim catrrd and phone will restart in sequence

the solution is to change the flex belt ,,,1000% ok ,,i personally did not believe it nor see any connection but believe me it worked perfect and all the phones are alive and working good ..

I also thing it has something to do with the FLEX. I recived one 6260 for making trouble with display, but sim was fine. I changed the FLEX and now the display is working fine, but started to do that nasty thing with the sim-card. I belive they sold me bad FLEX

well bros... most of the time the mobiles are locked...i hada few problems like this in dct4 mobiles i unlocked it andit was ok....pl z try this solution and post the results...
