on the back cover next to camera window is metal bit that stick out when you put the back cover on the phone it pushes the contact in between the camera and memory door which let the phone read the memory card.

hi friend i read your mesagges on forum... can you help me pls? I hve 6500 S and when i plug the memory card telephone slowly and frezed and sometimes i cant see the memory card telephone always slowly with memory card but when i plug the memory card everythings is normal what is my problem? i did flash resolder and i changed memory cards and still same problems.. plz write me

all the solution given are good efforts, but before changing mmc ic you should confirm that the back cover of ur 6500s is ok , sometime this problem is due to bad contact of back cover , check the back cover of some other phone ur ph wiil b ok , then post

brother it might be the problem of ur memory card , first formate ur memory card then check , or check your ph with another memory card
