Member: 201127 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | NOKIA 7270 - on / off switch + chip HELP PLEASE!!! I have just got a 7270 which has had the on / off switch ripped off. The tracks are still intact. Someone has used a screw driver or similar to try and jump start the phone by linking the tracks. When doing this - they have taken off 3 chips near the on / off. I have circled them in a picture provided. I have put a new on / off switch on the phone, and i have just linked the tracks for the 3 chips - as shown in the second picture. The phone now turns on automatically even without the on / off switch connected. Is there another way to link the tracks / make a jumper?? Or what chips can I use off other phones? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Chris. |
