Nokia E72 battery drains quickly - GSM-Forum

Got this phone with the above problem, also i came to know that the earpiece speaker produce scratches sound so after replacing the earpiece speaker, it works good for a short period and then came back with the scratches sound. is it related to power IC? Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

cheak the speaker ,when in use ,is it getting hot,,,if yes then change the ringer ic,and audio ic...problem will be solved.

Oh! Sorry, I mean E71, yes the earpiece speaker area is hot. I will try you solution and post result. Thanks

change earpiece speaker to resolve high comsuption of battery.
