Temperature for safe desolder?
 

Hi, all.

Interested in temperature to desolder components.

Was trying to remove flash ram ic 7610.
But dont seems to get loose.
What temperature i can try without destroying it?

normally around 320 degree

Hi, i tried too 330 degree, but still no movement :(

no waterdamaged.

u must put some flux in order to remove anything

be carefull because newer phones uses lead free solder balls and
requires more heat to melt it,otherwise you will tamper the solder
clads of the board.

But even 330 degree wont move it :(
My main concern which temperate the glass flash ic will survive?

me use near abt 390 to 420.... its help for me...

I use 340-360 degrees for lead-free soldering, but you must consider different calibrations of each soldering station, i mean the indicated and the real temperature may differ.
