unbarring requires two things, first you need to have a clean certificate for model, or an homologated imei numer (better than random one) and a rooted phone (you need a proven method to root), second, you need a tool to apply the new imei or certificate and also patch the security so the phone won't complain because the imei has changed. For the second step there are several tools, best is chimera tool. For the first step you got imei cleaner. In other words, imei cleaner will note change imei or apply cert, it will provide the correct imei and the correct clean cert required to carry out these tasks. Imei cleaner also has many other features but I guess it would be better if you download the demo and take a look for yourself. BR.
