A920 - A925 Flash - GSM-Forum

Hi all,

Has anyone got the instructions and the software to flash an A920 to an A925. I know your local 3 dealer does it but i can't be without a handset for 3 days. So wanted to do it myself.

Managed to get PST but doesn't seem to connect to the handset.

yesterday i succeded to convert an A920 into A925. You just need working PST and a valid A925 shx flash file. Now the phone has active bluetooth, IRDA and you can install software. If you need help contact me.

i flashed a920- 925.
it is now showing 3g and white screen.
i'm unable to flex it.
i used SKN6311B usb cable. for flash

or shall i use SYN0279B serial cable for flex.
suggest me.

you most likely need a full firmware (that contains both the flash and the flex in a single file) try and get that and re flash your phone..#

Mod right. and most of SHX of A920 and A925 has flex inside. I've done many A920 (no blue tooth, no IRDA, no Camera, ...) by flash it with PST.

What tool best flashes the A920 and 925 with full firmware? For full flashing and rewritting of the phone when it hangs booting.
