A925 won't flash completely - stop at 81%

Hi all! Maybe somebody can help me. When I'm trying to flash my A925 it always stops at 81%. I've tried different flash versions, I've tried to flash with PST, RSD-Lite, Radiocomm. Always the same error. I have bootloader 01.01.54 installed. When I flash with a small.shx file it flashes to 100% but when the phone then reboots there's only the first screen with the Motorola logo and then after a while the phone turns off. Anybody got an idea???

Thanks in advance

If you can flash only up to 81% with any flash file, maybe you have a faulty flash chip!

Is there anything I can do by software or is it a pure hardware problem which is irreparable?

To activate the flash mode, do the following: Power off the phone - press and hold the 2 game buttons - connect the USB cable, wait 2 or 3 seconds, then release the 2 buttons - the display should now show the bootloader version and "waiting for pst" - now you can use PST (or other program) and flash.

for a925/a920 theres also a bootloader or rs-232 cable which is often used to revive dead a925s i dont think its a faulty flash i think you need to get your hands on a boot strap cable they are very rare these days & following that you need to send a couple commands through hyper terminal in windows which should fix your problem i dont remember the whole procedure sorry but hope this helps
