Area Display- Active Channels Memory full only with "Idea" SIM

A strange problem with my L7 -

The area info wasnt displaying on the screen, so I called Moto helpline and was told to go to info services and turn the service "on" and add "50" in Active Channels.

That was when I had an Airtel SIM in the phone and it worked.

Now Iv got an Idea Cellular SIM also, and on inserting the Idea SIM in the phone the area dosent display and there is no entry at all in the "Active Channels" list! Attempting to add it gives a "Active Channels memory full" message.

I called Moto helpline and service centre. Was told to do a Master Reset and Master Clear. But no use - it still displays the "Memory Full" error message if I try to add the channel!

Now whats really strange is that if I remove the Idea SIM and put in the Airtel SIM, then then "50" re-appears automatically in the "Active Channel" list! And the area is also displayed correctly on the main screen!

If I insert the Idea sim in my standby Nokia phone then the area displays correctly on that phone ...which means there is no issue with the Idea SIM!

Can anybody help please??? The service centre is quite far from my residence...
