Best Firmware for American GSM t720? - GSM-Forum

Hello, I have this older t720 that has a lot of the common problem... with sounds etc etc etc...

I'd like to flash to a current t720i, or T720i, except I understand that the t720 cant take a t722 flash (correct?)

Anyway, where can I find a good flash/flex set? I know spunlock has the t720i set, but seems a little on the old side.

Thanks for all the information ahead of time.

Oh, and url to the firmware/flexes would be greatly appreciated.

U can do that if U have Victor origin box!!!

Search on the net for T720_G_05.08.81R is much better than T720i software... the iTAP lerns new worlds, the character counter of the SMS has been fixed and so on. If you don't need MMS T720 is better than T720i/T722i.

actuallly I posted the message before checking the firmware version on this phone....

It actually has .81r ON it.. does weird **** like sometimes alarms wont go off at all, and when a ring is playhing and you shut the flip... it continues to play until the song is over etc.

I would like to have mms capabilities but it seems that the latest t720i firmware I've been able to find is a little on the older side.

umnmm I can do it with PST and the correct flashes/firmwares....

But I have a question before flashing its to my phone:
- After that my phone have camera function,yet???
If yes that means T720 is much and more better than T720i and T722i!!!!

No, the camera works just with T72xi.

For me T720 is much better than T720i... integrated e-mail client, 500 phone book entries, 500Kb free for java applications, 10 voice dial and voice memo.
T720i supports camera and MMS but the contents of the MMS can't be saved on your phone (i.e. you can't use a received picture as wallpaper) and you can send just the pictures that you've taken with your camera... T720i supports just "Photo Messaging per MMS" and not real MMS.
