Cable Solution for v3 Razr (Razor) ?? - GSM-Forum

Is there a Cable solution for unlocking a Cingular branded Motorola V3 Razr or Razor? Or even maybe a Calculator for unlocking via IMEI? I know alot of phones can be unlocked with just a cable and some free software on the computer. Like a Panasonic GU87 for example. No need for special hardware, etc...

The only things that I have read about are using the Smart Clip and Total Moto.

However, I have found Pay Sites that can unlock via the IMEI. Thats why I feel theres a calculator out there. Anybody agree with me on this?

Any help or feedback is greatly apreciated. Thanks In Advance!

Maybe someone can tell me if it can be done with the included USB cable. If thats possible or if it has to be done via a serial data cable.

Hi, no imei calculators or simple usb/ serial solution from what I know.It is best to unlock such phone with tools you have mentioned.

only smart clip is the way for unlocking...but for IMEI change of motoroola never heard

I read that VictorGSM software can do it using the USB cable. Is that true?

Yes, with VictorGSM MSS4 you can unlock V3 ...

This is true, but this software cost many $$$, maybe it come down in price recently. If you search forum you will get idea of price.

yes you can unlock V3 with mss4 in about 30 seconds

you also need internet connection to use mss4

Maybe for just stand alone unlocking but MSS best for moto unlocking in general as well as flashing. As far as unlocking goes you dont need any experience on MSS just do what the screen tells you (I suppose being able to read helps lol)
