Flash v400 to v500 or v600? - GSM-Forum

I realize the 400 is supposed to be a dumbed down version of the v600, and doesnt have the "video recorder" or the bluetooth...

But I've seen in the past motorola had phones that were capable of more than the software on the phone was.

Can I flash the v400 to perhaps a v600 and possibly add some more functionality?

hi,

just (supposing you have dongle) take a look at victor ftp,
v300_v400_v500 share same software version (triplets),
personaly I have no v300 here for test

I dont know if I understand what you mean.

The software is identical, it just interpets what physical functionality the phone has?

again I was jus asking because I know I used to upgrade t720's to t720i's and t722's
