help with v80 - GSM-Forum

iv got v80 that i drop in to a cup of tea so i took apart & left it to dry for a few days & when i put back together it work but was a light shadow on the screen it kept working for two weeks then one day i open it to make a call & the pic on the outer screen stay upside down & froze & i could not make or receive calls try it few times but stayed the same so i turn it of & the next time i try to turn it on only the keypad lit up the screen just stay blank & i could not make or recived calls anybody have any ideas

Write flash in it ...

v80 is supported in www.mototools.net with very nice support ... and it is CHEAP, but good

try to change flex (flex cable) or open and clean connectors.many v80 have this problem as I see on net.
I only do one of this defect,only keypad lights and blank display and dead phone.problem was in flex cable (one track only was intrerupted) and that track was only for display.
just for testing I compared 2 flex cable one new and second from phone and find broken track.repaired track and phone works.maybe v80 if can't comunicate with lcd is dead.
