Do a google search for an free unlock method - there are a few out there that might work on your a840. It is important to make sure people have had good experiences before you try it. 2. Visit my site phoneblitz.com to get a Motorola a840 unlock code. For $25 bucks we offer a guaranteed service - shameless self promotion I know  3. Try phoning up your current network and asking for the code. Some will sell you one, others will give you one if you make up some story about being a loyal customer and going abroad on business.
