moto V180 always "contact service provider" after unlock with moto 2005 free - GSM-Forum

hi friends,

I have motorola v180 I unlock it with motorola2005free soft
but I always have "contact service provider"
I press * + # + PWR , all is ok ,press unlock the soft say "Done"
but after power on the phone always "contact service provider"

please help me to unlock this phone

Battery is fully charged
tested with fully charged battery .....Not work
tested with pluged in charger ..... not work
Always "contact service provider" , I think it's a non supported version
or what.

help please.

i read something that has similar problem as yours on similar forum. deleting secure_pda_init or something (can't remember the exact file name) from your phone and this should solve your problem. i suggest that you back up that file first before deleting, just to be safe. i noticed on my c651 that the file mentioned is not there. and my phone is unlocked when i used the "earlier" version of the unlocker.

you have a problem because you have R365 s/w. You have to downgrade to R364 and unlock

That is what you will get when using free soft, you can be happy it's not dead.

Soft isn't so bad - I unlocked few E398 and plenty of C650/V220 with it without any problems

Dear !

just follow the following instruction: and you will be able to solve your problem sucsesfully.

1) make sure that your bettery is fully charged else use Power supply and connect with your handset by giving about 3.8 - 4.0 voltage
2) connect your usb cable to your handset
3) connect your smart clip with power 9V adopter
4) connect your usb cable to your smart-clip.
5) power on your phone
6) press direct unlock from your smart clip device.

Now, you should get green light and unlock your handset sucessfuly.
