After numerous requests for a link to free Motorola software, I have decided to host on my own webspace the complete Motorola phone tools as found on the cd-rom that comes with the phones. It configures itself to allow data transfer to/from your phone and pc. I believe the Motorola website charges for this download if you can find it on the website which is why I have posted it here. It can be run in several languages, except Welsh.

It is nearly 300MB which will take about 60 mins on a 512kb broadband connection to download, but if you use a download assistant (gozilla etc) then it may make it easier.

The file is in Winzip format, so you may need this depending on your operating system.

I cannot guarantee how long my webspace hosting provider will allow numerous 300MB downloads due to bandwidth restrictions, so get it while you can!

The software is only data transfer orientated and there is nothing in the zip file to assist with unlocking, flashing etc.
