My V525 converted to V600

I had converted my Motorola V525 to v600 thanks to www.motclub.com who offers the v600 firmware. I used PST program and very cool. New functions was added to my mobile (video, messenger, upload java games with cable, ...) All Vodafone Live menus dissapeared and now i have 6mb of free memory. lOl

Yes I did this as well with my v400. Worked like a charm. Camera didnt work at first, but a good ol phone restart took care of that. All in all quite nice, kinda ****ty I have to go put in all the internet stuff again, but other than that... good stuff.

Another thing, I was hoping my phone would miraculously have bluetooth, but I guess if its not there, its not there.

What languages does the Firmware support? Actually l do own a v600 but with lame Vodafone branding, so with flashing a "normal" firmware I should get rid of it, right? Unfortunately that motclub site is all in spanish, so any hints are appreciated

hi,

v300 v500 and v600 are same hardware plattaform and uses same software,
after flexing the phone you will get rid of that stupid customizations, no need
to flash phone.

best regards

1-Firstly, tell you my v525 the camera works fine.

2-Difference between v525 and v600 is mp4 video player, messenger, ...

3-The flex has 4 languages supported: English(by default), Spanish, Portuguese and French.

After flashing i got 6mb free space.

v400 and I think the v300 do not have bluetooth (something that was not fixed with the software upgrade... which is understandable)

You get engineering menus, AIM and other IM options (qqchat?), and yes, there is about 1meg MORE memory. Quite nice if you ask me.
