no carrier notice with slvr l6

Hey all

I recently sold a used L6 on ebay and the buyer is having issues with the telephone.

The phone was a fully unlocked version bought from tiger direct. I was using tmobile at the time and verified the phone was in perfect working order before i sent it. I dont know what carrier the buyer is using and im waiting on a response

Could it be that the phone simply needs to be master reset? IF so what is the master reset password.

I appreciate any response you all provide.

If i cant resolve the issue with the buyer im going to refund them...get them to return it and send it back to motorola since the phone is still under warranty

I sold a fully unlocked slvr l6 phone on ebay that worked when i sent it

The buyer is coming back at me saying they are getting a no carrier signal

Im asking if this is an issue with the phone needed to be reset. There is a master reset option somehwere in the phone. Could that be the solution?

some of the unlocked phones that tiger direct carries do not have 850MHz support. and cingular is 850 only in some parts of the country.
