Is it possible to change Imei on V600? - GSM-Forum

I am thinking about buying blocked V600 and wondered if possible to change IMEI using MSS 3.5.2 or MSS 3.6. Though being in Uk would have to travel abroad and do this with a laptop from a country that it isn't ilegal to do. I have heard it isn't ilegal to do in Holland, so as a side question which countries is changing IMEI still legal?

I use VictorGSM 3.8 (licensed) and it does not allow you to change it.

yes u can change triplets imei but only in the hard way ..
changing flash ic .. and programing seem with new nvr using Motorola Gate System
witch by the way cost huge money and restricted only to motorola level 3 SC ..

In Argentina there are no specific laws about changing imei, but, remember, it is too dangerous to stay in this country.

I did change the IMEI of my V600 many many times with MSS Victor 3.6! But then after the day I activated the phone with a service provider, I could not change that IMEI any more. Anyone knows why ?

in Jakarta it is 10000% legal for change imei!!!!

Maybe the only thing you really did is "adding" a "0" to your loyal V60..

I'm not kidding, man! I was really surprised when I first saw this thread because I changed my V600 many many times and easily like blinking my eyes! I changed the IMEI back and forth, many times! I did not pay attention until I saw this thread. Now, I cannot.

I'm serious. I am trying to figure out the cause. Maybe because I updated my WinXP with SP2, or I activated the phone with a SP, or something else
