Step by step unlock procedure for V3? - GSM-Forum

Can someone give me a step by step walkthrough on how to unlock my RAZR V3? I have P2k Easy Tool. How is it used? Do I need to have a sim card in the phone or can it be unlocked without one?

It's easy!
1. Press * + # + power into bootloader
2. Connect Phone with PC
3. Click unlock phone in P2k tool ( program auto change bootloader if your bootloader is 8.26)
4. ALL DONE

search before post what u want this treads are just to mess up the threads of motorola nothing more. this mobile already posted how to unlock more than 1000 times how to unlock it free.

Hi

Sorry if this question has been asked so many times, Im a noob. But using the P2K softwear I get a "not connected" message.

With my V3 RAZ I poewer up to boot loader and it shows version 08.26

Whatever version P2K I use it states that test point is required for anything above boot loader 8.A0 (maybe an earlier version can be loaded ?)

I short the test point but then the phone will not power up at all.

What am I doing wrong ??

Please help.
