Can anyone tell me where to get a manual how to do Testpoint? I've unlocked a lot of phones but never used testpoint! Do you need a special cable?

After connecting testpoint and battery you have to detect the phone first as S blank something. After you detect the phone you can go ahead and remove testpoint but not battery until you finish.

Yes you can, but remember to tape the end of it so you are not touching the pin direct.

@Vermsky
When you put battery (or any other source ) with test point connected, phone goes in boot mode, you detect it or not is other thing.
However, I advise every newbie to use power supply instead of battery.
Good luck.

@ sepia

And where could we get a power supply? And how do you attach it? Power supply would be better so that I would get my hand free to click the mouse

I've always used t720 battery for most phones though.
